Follow your stomach


I love food. I also love travel. When I travel to any country, finding the local restaurant will be the first step in my plan. Food is a part of a culture. I believe when we taste the local food, we can feel closer that country. I can’t imagine that I visiting a country and never trying their representative food.

When I traveled to Japan, I tried ramen and sushi; when I toured to Korea, I tried Korean BBQ and kimchi. However, as I decided to come to Vancouver which is a beautiful city in Canada, I can’t decide what kind of food I should try before I leave. I know salmon and blueberry are local specialties in Canada, but they are ingredients, not kinds of dishes. Some people would say poutine is Canada’s representative dish. For me, poutine is just a snack, and I don’t think Canadian will eat…
