The Jacksonville Suns (1-0, 30-40) will look for two straight wins tonight when they face off against the Biloxi Shuckers (0-1, 43-26) with a first pitch slated for 7:05 p.m. ET from Bragan Field.
In last night’s 6-2 win Terrence Dayleg provided his first homer of 2015, his second three-hit performance, multi-RBI game, and fifth multi-hit game while collecting four RBI in the win. He has eight RBI if you span back to the last series Jacksonville played in Chattanooga.
Matt Tomshaw (W, 3-4) hurled seven frames surrendering one run (earned) on three hits while walking two and striking out a pair of batters in his start for Jacksonville. Shuckers starter Brent Suter (L, 4-3) manufactured five innings surrendering two runs (both earned) on eight hits while walking one and striking out a solo batter.
