When you answer to the nickname “Money,” we guess it makes sense that you would deliver a knockout punch and land atop of Forbes’ 2015 highest paid celebrities list.
Following their May 2 super-fight, Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have topped Forbes’ annual list of 100 highest-paid superstars. After their highly publicized Las Vegas bout, the two fighters pocketed a combined $460 million, with Mayweather earning $300 million and Pacquiao netting $160 million, good enough to finish first and second on this year’s list, respectively.
Number three with a “Roar” on Forbes‘ list is Katy Perry, who moved up six spots from last year’s list after earning an estimated $135 million thanks to her Prismatic World Tour. The “Dark Horse” singer performed an impressive 124 shows during the Forbes scoring period.
