State Police Arrest Two On Drug Charges

(Union, Conn./CBS Connecticut) –  Two men are being arraigned today on drug charges after State Police stopped their vehicle on Interstate 84 in Union over the weekend.

Troopers say they seized more than 1 thousand bags of heroin, 10 bags of crack cocaine as well as $800 in cash when they stopped the Volkswagen Passat for an emissions violation.

Troopers arrested 27 year old Zachary Monahan of Dudley, Massachusetts and 26 year old Joshua Mimande of North Grosvernordale. The charges against them include Possession of Heroin and Cocaine With Intent To Sell.
