BALTIMORE (WJZ)—The search is on for the suspects who gunned down three people and injured another on Baltimore street corner on Tuesday July 7.
Investigators say two vans—one white, one burgundy—pulled up to the corner at West Fayette and Poppleton just after 10:30 Tuesday evening. Two gunmen got out and opened fire on a crowd of people.
On Thursday, police identified the three victims as 34-year-old Gerald Thompson, of Baltimore, 53-year-old Jacqueline Parker, of Baltimore, and 39-year-old Lamont Randall, of Baltimore.
On Wednesday, remnants of the shooting scene littered the sidewalk as neighbors worry about the constant barrage of bullets on their streets.
“We got kids that’s living ’round here that want to play. They can’t play without people getting shot up. It’s just crazy,” said Shakaira Jones.
Investigators have flooded the neighborhood looking for clues. They believe three to four suspects may be involved.
