Conference-record 5 teams in NCAA Tournament field
The 2015 season began with Baseball America and D1Baseball each predicting four Big Ten teams to reach the NCAA Tournament. An expected banner season, the Big Ten exceeded all expectations.
Led by Illinois, the No. 6 tournament national seed making a third consecutive year with a Big Ten program hosting a regional, five Big Ten teams will play in an NCAA regional, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland and Michigan joining the conference champion Illini. Five teams nearly doubles the Big Ten’s best prior output when the conference sent three teams into the field of 64 in 1999, 2000 and 2007.

Johnny Depp Just Sponsored An Orphaned Bat Named Jacki Sparrow
Her name is Jacki Sparrow and she really loves her pacifier.
This little bundle of joy is Johnny Depp’s sponsored orphan bat Jacki Sparrow, who was found cold and alone on the ground in Queensland, Australia.
The red flying fox, seen here with a tiny pacifier, was found roughly three weeks ago by a volunteer from the Australian Bat Clinic and Wildlife Trauma Centre.

Bat clinic director Trish Wimberley told BuzzFeed News the centre contacted Johnny about sponsorship, as he was in town filming the latest Pirates of the Caribbean installment.
Trish said “Johnny loves bats” and was “more than happy” to sponsor little Jacki.

The News That Won’t Go Up Today
So yesterday the whole gang was around for some recordings and whatnot and since news was light this week we decided to record an alternative video. The idea was to make me (Lewes) play some Bloodborne while attempting to read the news stories we had chosen for the podcast. Unfortunately the video did not process correctly and is unusable. That means no news video this week and I apologize profusely. We’ll see you guys for the usual bits this week (pod Wednesday, video Friday) and thanks for being awesome as always!
